Understand first aider roles and responsibilities
Safely assess incidents and manage scences
Call for emergency assistance and coordinate a response
Conduct primary & secondary surveys

Advanced CPR & AED Techniques
Perform advanced adult CPR and manage resuscitation challenges

Managing Medical Emergencies
Respond to poisoning, heart attacks, strokes, seizures, shock, fainting, choking, heat exhaustion, heat stroke
Recognise and treat medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, anaphylaxis, meningitis, and sepsis
Address complex medical conditions with broader medical knowledge
Respond to eye/ear injuries, spinal injury, chest injury and hypothermia
Wound Care & Trauma Management
Manage bleeding and apply advanced bandaging techniques
treat burns, scalds, splinters, and bruises
Address and treat minor injuries, fractures, sprains, strains, and dislocations
Treat burns, including chemical and electrical burns, and recognise burn severity
Apply correct burn treatment procedures
Develop practical skills through advanced training and scenarios
Casualty Positioning & Monitoring
Properly place and monitor a breathing casualty
Continuously assess the casualty’s condition
Engage in scenrio-based recovery position practice
Infection Control & Compliance
Prevent cross-infection and follow regulations for recording and reporting
Maintain and utilise first aid kits effectively
Airway & Breathing Emergencies
Provide detailed responses for choking and drowning incidents
Address respiratory system issues with effective techniques
Practice with mannequins and choking vests
Recognise and treat chemical and electrical burns
Recognise burn severity and apply appropriate treatment procedures
